2017
Charps takes shape: We acquire a small contractor and rebuild it with a new mindset: professionalism, pride and long-term thinking.
2017–2022
Growth by reputation: We expand across the Midwest and Plains, deepen union ties, and earn repeat work by doing it right the first time.
2023
Technology meets trust: We acquire PipeSense, adding AI-powered leak detection and hydrotest insight to our toolkit.
2024
Northeast expansion: We open a Hartford office to better serve clients in the region and grow our national footprint.
2024
Industry leadership: CEO Joe Van Vynckt joins the PLCA board, helping shape the future of union pipeline work from the inside out.
